How do I know if my tie down system is safe?

Look at the photos below and compare your tie down
system to these. If any of your components look the
same as seen below you should seek urgent advice
on it's safety. Failure to secure your inflatable correctly
can result in the device becoming unstable in high wind
events resulting in blow away's. Inflatable blow
away's is by far the most dangerous incident
that can occur but is also one of the most preventable.

Specifications :
This rope has been worn down through abrasion which can be caused by movement through the pegging system.
Ropes that have worn to this degree can suffer loss of strength of up to 50%
The Australian standard requires ropes to withstand 8 kn of force
This rope would probably break at 3 or 4 kn
